12" Deck Mounting Plate

12″ Deck plate with 11″ hole pattern. Made for non-removable pedestals.

 If the deck material is thinner than 3/4 inch, a mounting plate is necessary. This is because thinner decks may not provide enough support for the screws, increasing the risk of them pulling out.

If you cannot access the underside of the deck for through-bolting, a mounting plate should be used. This allows for a secure installation without needing to reach underneath.

A mounting plate helps distribute the load across a larger area. This is crucial for preventing the screws from pulling out, especially when the seat is subjected to significant force, such as during rough water conditions.
