Springfield Swivel Footrest - cast aluminum

When I purchased this footrest there was no warning that it needed to be painted or anodized. After not being used for one week it pitted with black spots all over. Now it looks like we need to spend another $90 to have it painted which now makes it not worth the money and effort.

NICE! I added it to my boat and it looks great. BE AWARE it is sold as cast aluminum and needed painting before use. I took it to a local powder coater and picked a color that matches my boat. it was about $90 to get power coated. Spray paint would work fine, but not last as long.
